Insomnia

Insomnia is a sleep disorder that makes it hard to fall asleep, stay asleep, or go back to sleep after waking up too early. Some causes of insomnia include anxiety, poor sleep habits, depression, lack of exercise, chronic illness, or certain medications.

Treatment

Conventional

Insomnia can be treated through sleep medication, therapy, and self care. However, sleeping pills have many side effects, like changes in appetite, constipation, diarrhea, daytime drowsiness, headaches, and unusual dreams.

Homeopathic remedies can relieve overactive thoughts that are linked to insomnia. It can also help with disturbing dreams, and allow sleep to come more easily. It doesn't have any of the side effects of common sleep medications.
